PEARS, PEARS, AND MORE PEARS
THE NEIGHBOR ACROSS THE STREET HAS DECIDED HE DOESN'T WANT HIS PEAR TREE ANYMORE. HE TOLD PHILIP THAT WE COULD HAVE ALL OF THE PEARS AND THE TREE! SO....PHILIP AND THE GIRLS WENT OVER THERE LAST WEEK AND PICKED ALL OF THE MILLIONS OF PEARS OFF OF THE TREE. I THEN PROCEEDED TO CAN THE PEARS! I CANNED 36 PINTS, 12 QUARTS, AND 3 PINTS OF PEAR BUTTER (WHICH IS REALLY YUMMY!) AND I STILL HAVE MORE TO CAN. I RECRUITED MY NIECE CHAS TO COME AND HELP ME ONE DAY...THANKS FOR PEELING CHAS! IN RETURN SHE GOT TO TAKE HOME 10 PINTS OF CANNED PEARS! :) WE ALSO GAVE LOTS AWAY TO THE NEIGHBORS AROUND US AND FRIENDS. I HAVE TO SAY I ENJOYED LEARNING THE PROCESS TO CAN THE PEARS....BUT IT TAKES A LOT OF TIME. AFTER THE TREE GOES DORMANT WE WILL BE MOVING MR. PEAR TREE INTO OUR YARD TO LIVE ALONG SIDE MR. AND MRS. APPLE TREES :)

I have been waiting and waiting for an update! Yip-ee we have one! I'm sure that Mr. and Mrs. Apple Tree will be very welcoming to Mr. Pear Tree. Although, Mr. Pear tree will be lonely with out a Mrs. Pear tree and will be jealous of Mr. Apple tree. You better make sure that Mr.Apple tree is between Mr. Pear tree and Mrs. Apple tree. We don't want any hanky-panky going on. :)
