Swimming

Rebekah has now learned how to "swim" under water. She doesn't even need to hold her nose! Yesterday when we went to the pool she wasn't even putting her face in the water at all and by the time we left (3 1/2 hours later!) she was just about swimming! She has taught herself by watching others. I think after a couple more times at the pool she will be able to really swim! (right now she can't seem to get both of her feet up to the top of the water while she is swimming)She is completely under the water and her arms are going-but she can only get one leg at a time up to kick :) We are so proud of her....this was really big for her to put her face under water since she doesn't even like a splash of water on her face!

Elizabeth also had a "big girl" moment yesterday at the pool. She went down the big twirly slide with Daddy! Philip met us at the pool after work and Elizabeth HAD to do something big too! So her and Daddy went down the big slide several times :) She also put her face under water several times-but that was definitely not on purpose for her! She did well with it though.

We are definitely loving the pool this year!
